These are all the providers that use the Kesmai/Gamestorm server for AW, so whichever way you logon all play in the same theaters. AOL however use a different server.
Connections for playing may vary depending on local conditions and general internet connections. For new users it is suggested you try a provider that offers the level of service you require and perhaps use a trial account to check reliablity of play. If planes disappear for a second or so, or warp in jerks, then your connection may not be good enough to sustain gameplay.
Gamestorm is connected directly to the Kesmai AW server (Gamestorm is provided by Kesmai for all it's games - AW4W, AW3d, and AW Mac) via Internet browser from your own ISP. One low tarif for unlimited play per month. Not available as ISP. Low cost. Connect via your own ISP. Uses Gamestorm game launcher installed on your system. Connection variable depending on your own ISP and the number of nodes to the server. Highly Recommended if you use your own favourite ISP.
Compuserve has direct dial up anywhere in the UK at local rates, two tarifs depending on usage, is a complete ISP, and offers excellent connection to the Kesmai AW server via CSI's own network. Recommended by many for reliable AW play at a higher cost in the UK. Trial account available.

UK based ISP in London, Direct dialup at local rates, OR you can log-in via your own ISP on a content plan like Delphi. Low cost and works reasonably well. Direct dialup at local rates. This large ISP has it's own AW Host (licenced by Kesmai/Gamestorm) though it charges an hourly premium rate for AW. Many use it as an ISP but still play on the Kesmai/Gamestorm Host for unlimited play on the fixed monthly charge. Connection to the host may be variable depending on the number of nodes, and net traffic.
