Inflight Radar Commands

/*re Radar bias - enemy aircraft
/*rf Radar bias - friendly aircraft
/*rb Radar bias - bombers
/*ru Radar bias - unbiased

You can track a maximum of 12 planes on the radar at once. Biased view modes allow you to choose which 12, of many planes in the area, will appear.

In unbiased mode, you will see the 12 aircraft closest to you, no matter if they are friendly or enemy planes.

If you select enemy-biased mode, and there are more than 12 nearby planes, enemy planes will receive first priority for display.

In friendly-biased mode, the display priority shifts to show you nearby aircraft from your own country.

Bomber-biased mode will give display priority to bombers, whatever their country affiliation.

Tips

If you bail out of an airplane, pull the ripcord too early, and find yourself hanging at 20k feet facing an intermidable wait until you return to the virtual earth, type /*iwanttodie to put yourself out of your misery.

From the situation map you can assign yourself a mission, (tactical, offensive, or defensive) and get a briefing from the host. If you accept you are put on the runway in the proper plane type with the fuel and bombs specified. You can reject this and take another if you wish. If you keep rejecting missions (20 or so) you get something really dumb such as: "You will take a ship with 50 stout men, sail around the Cape of Good Hope, and bring back silks and spices, the likes of which ye have never seen." The accept button is dimmed for these choices.

If you run over a sheep at an airfield in your plane or vehicle it'll let out a "Baaaa" in protest, and if you shoot at them they'll produce smoke and blow up.
